Frequently asked questions

FCL or LCL — which is better for me?

If the cargo takes more than half a container, FCL is usually cheaper. For smaller shipments — LCL: you pay per cubic metre, but transit takes longer because of consolidation.

Can you handle customs if the goods come from outside the EU?

Yes — the import declaration, T1 transit and duty calculation are prepared in Riga before the container is released from the terminal.

What happens to the container after unloading?

The empty container goes back to the line depot; we plan the timing so that no demurrage or detention charges arise.
